A rare juvenile Stenopterygius quadriscissus from the Posidonia Shale of Holzmaden, Germany — one of the world's finest ichthyosaur localities. This 98% complete specimen preserves the full skeleton in near-perfect articulation on a striking dark shale slab. Known as the "dolphin of the Jurassic," Stenopterygius evolved its streamlined body shape entirely independently from modern marine mammals — a textbook case of convergent evolution. Discovered in 1998, professionally prepared and stabilized. Full documentation and certificate of legal ownership available upon request.
